Shivendra Sharma, Founder and Managing Director, totals over 12 years of diverse professional experiences and has worked extensively in microfinance in South Asia. Microfinance Process Excellence Awards, Small Change: Microbusiness Monthly and the Microinsurance Awards are concepts which he developed and implemented, as Executive Director of PlaNet Finance India. He is passionate about bridging market/knowledge gaps and is the creator of radical training approaches such as assembleIT: a basic IT Training where participants assemble computers and roughIT: backpack mobile training unit. He is an MBA Finance and highly skilled at Branding and Product Development, Information Technology, Project Management, Process Reengineering and Microfinance. Pritha Sen, Content Director, has professional experience spanning 25 years. An educationist first before moving on to journalism, she has worked as a Senior Editor and Special Correspondent in prestigious magazines like Sunday, Business Today and Outlook. Also a freelance writer and content editor in the development sector, primarily in microfinance, Pritha is associated with various Indian and international non-profits in the areas of project documentation, evaluation, research and writing.
